The mission of the 46664 Arctic concert, with its associated campaigns, is to raise awareness and commitment to combat AIDS/HIV.

The particular mission of the concert held in Tromsø north of the polar circle (46664 Arctic) and the associated campaigns is to emphasise the global threat of the epidemic and the need for global commitment to address that threat. 

The vision of the 46664 Arctic is:

            By 2015 - a generation free from HIV/Aids.

Operationally, the three events are being divided into 3 groups of activities:

A)    The international campaign;

B)     The national/Scandinavian campaign; and

C)    The concert itself.

The concert will be a key event to create awareness about HIV/Aids.
